under domed cupola, water
fervid—38 degrees
rebirthing vessel; womb
a place to die a
thousand deaths while
bathed in muted stained-glass
light in shades of
yellow blue and green
a portal to a zone where
s(k)ins are shed
alongside neighbours
lost in steam
