Early
October with Light Fog
I sit in the big lawn chair with a shawl
and fragrant red wine
listen to city sounds and ocean sounds
Basho the iguana curls around the fountain
where three rivulets trickle
over one marble frog
Basho smiles, hugs his bamboo poles
and river rocks
meditates with me
I love this oncoming fall
one more season
one more chance
one more dream
