Monday's Poem

Heidi Greco is a writer and editor who lives in Surrey, BC. Despite not being keen on shovelling the white stuff, she still has an affinity for snow angels.

December
(for my sister)

The smell of wood smoke in the air and I remember
you and me, outside in the sunny cold, scissoring
our legs, making angels in the snow, pretending
they were cut-out dolls, frilly decorations
greeting cards to the sky.
