Pavement Puncture

Determined nation
Rally claps
Mile a monstrosity minute
Curly red
Fox quick
Country so wide
Some cried
During protocol pit stops
Microphone grasp
Last gasp
Even two legs weren’t enough
But archival footage
Suns the shadow
