© 2013 Kim Clark Kim Clark's debut fiction (sexysickchiclit) collection, Attemptations (Caitlin Press), was launched in 2011 and one of its novellas has been optioned for a 90-minute feature film. shuddering

small town depots
Keremeos or Hedley
for a quick       bite

twenty minutes
            maybe thirty
then     only
            the tattoo image
of those narrow
                   haunches
flanking
the get-away

gearing up to
the motion
         of pulling out
                 of town
