poems
for life and letting go

How
to respond when doctors tell you
six months maybe twelve
Excuse me sir there must be
some mistake
you cannot sentence life
for good behaviour
When
Tom Brown's wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he found himself
writing poems to get him through the dark nights. This remarkable
sequence chronicles the final months of a woman named Margaret, sharing
not only fear and pain, but wonder and grace, as a father and his
sons care for her at home.
